A little busy yesterday. I swapped out the stock speakers with Powerbass, and the difference is night and day. They are direct plugins with factory connectors.
i hear good things, but also hear they somewhat lack any midrange? did you do all 4? and are you doing the dash tweeters?
I replaced all 4. I don't have any midrange issues. I think I'll leave the tweeters in place right now. I'm just not comfortable digging out the dash to replace them.
that makes sense. how difficult would you say taking the doors off was? and did you get the same set of 2 for the front and back doors?
Same set for all 4 speakers. For $220 you get much better quality and sound, and after the break-in period, they will sound even better. The labor was free I did it all myself which took me about 2 hours. I took my time on the first door, then the rest were a breeze. There are plenty of DIY's on YT on how to take them off. I managed not to break any clips.

Honestly, I'm satisfied with the BS's sound quality for my needs but I might need something to work on once the weather cools off lol.
Mostly reviews and I did some research first. And the fact that they're a direct plug n play without any attachments/adapters did it for me. I'm sure there are better ones out there, but for the price and the minor labor associated with it, you can't beat it.
Did you install it. yourself? I thought you could buy it precut from their site but I didn't see that option the other day. I got 2 quotes from local shops; $100 and $211. Huge difference.
weathertech has precut you can DIY, but i had mine in getting window tint already so i had them do the xpel also, they have the printers that also precut anyway so they look perfect. it was $100.00
i figure if i buy it precut, its gonna be apx $75.00 anyway so i may as well have them do it while its there so i dont screw it up.
ok so today, i installed the bulletpoint dash mount, a stubby antenna, and i installed a dual port turbosmart BOV. all went well. the BOV sounds good, but i dont really hear it until a second gear gas pedal release.
