Finally got around to getting my windshield tinted. Put a layer of Llumar IRX 50% on the windshield. Not that dark, but enough to help.

I like the look but that would be illegal in New York State and the vehicle would not pass state inspection with it.

Same in most, if not all, states. Only windshield tint I know of that’s allowed is above the AS1 line. In AZ that’s a primary offense, meaning they can pull you over simply because of that one thing.

Good thing I’ve had a prescription for tinted windows since 2005. 😊

It's also illegal in Florida, so I did a 75% on the front windshield of both my vehicles. You can't tell it's there, but it's ceramic and still blocks out heat, UVA and UVB rays. It makes a big difference in keeping the interior cool and protecting the dash long-term from direct sunlight. They don't require any inspections here in Florida, so it's easy to get away with it.

Finally getting around to getting the alignment 100% after the lift. Added camber bolts in the front, and adjustable rear upper control arms.

Surprisingly easy job for the control arms. Was expecting a fight, bolts threaded out by hand once I broke them free.

What lift did you go with? If there's a thread on it, would love to get that link. I'm leaning heavaly on the HRG 1.5. Maybe the 2.5, if I can get an informed opinion that it won't kill the drive train.

I’ve got the Bilstein B8 Terrasport lift on mine.

Lifted it just over an inch, enough to clear the tires I wanted to put on.

Went with Eibach camber bolts, and SPC adjustable rear upper control arms.

The ride has been a bit… off… since I put the lift on, and we got it aligned, but the best we could get camber was nearly 0° in the rear, and like -0.3° in the front before today, and the spec is -1.2° for rear and -0.7° for the front for dead center of the allowable area.

Since I have the lift, we shot for -1.4° in the rear, and -0.8° in the front and my god, pretty sure it drives better than brand new did.
