mine doesn’t really make sense at all but I actually saw my MPG increase after installing the 2.5inch HRG lift. Before I would see about 26.5 highway. After the lift I was at 28/29 highway.
I am assuming this is a fairly easy install?Threw on some Damond Motorsport rear caliper bushings yesterday and backed out of driveway this morning quieter than a church mouse on a cracker, completely squeak a free.
Yes it was.I am assuming this is a fairly easy install?
agreed that black lugs make a big difference. at least in my situation, there was a lot of unpainted metal within the lug seats that the lugs don't cover, which i only notice when looking at the wheels dead on. do you have that issue or are the lugs larege enough and/or there's no unpainted metal in your wheel seats?Well this wasn't today, this was a couple days ago but this is the first chance I've really had to snap a picture. Finally got my ugly steel winter rims off and put my OEM wheels back on with the addition of black lug nuts. So much better looking now.![]()
Nope these are the exact same size as the OEM lugs so the seating area covers the unpainted area on the rim.agreed that black lugs make a big difference. at least in my situation, there was a lot of unpainted metal within the lug seats that the lugs don't cover, which i only notice when looking at the wheels dead on. do you have that issue or are the lugs larege enough and/or there's no unpainted metal in your wheel seats?
what brand are they and/or do you have a link?Nope these are the exact same size as the OEM lugs so the seating area covers the unpainted area on the rim.
They were literally just the cheapest Black lug nuts I can find on Amazon. As for the brand, honestly couldn't tell you I think it's just one of those ones that are sold by 50 different sellers. LOLwhat brand are they and/or do you have a link?
Yaaa. That’s what I felt when I installed mine, too. Unless your hanging a damn iPad or something like that from it, I don’t see the need for drilling additional holes to mount it.Grabbed the Bulletpoint mount during the Memorial Day sale; shipped and delivered quickly; installed with just the 2 "bronco bolts" and feels super sturdy (once tightened, unlike the pic below)- no need to drill into the dashboard piece for my planned use of a small dashcam.
