off we go to the canadian rocky mountains for 2.5 weeks of camping. i’ll be posting photos as we go along the way.
and although damien looks pissed, it is 5am, but he has the entire back seat to himself and cozy.

how are those ko2s? Look sweet! I am assuming 245 65/17? Are you on stock suspension? If so, any issues with rubbing or scrapping?

you are correct and no rubbing! a lil noisy on the highway but great tire.

came home a few days early and went right back to camping in manitoba here. last pic was at Lundar Beach and met a fellow bronco sport couple!

So we added almost 8,000 km to our sport during this trip. we went exclusively looking for backroad camping and rec sites, which did not disappoint.

totally self sufficient, with a BougeRV freezer/fridge, jackery box, and jackery solar panels. Coleman propane stove, as well as a jetboil setup for quick coffees and small eats.

zero problems or issues with the sport, like not one. averaged 10.2 L/100km.

the hardest part was lifting our 130 lbs cane corso puppy in and out of the rooftop tent, but a tactical dog vest and sheer willpower got him in and out every time.

if any of you ever have the chance to travel the great white north, do it. you will not be disappointed.

side note, i was surprised at the number of bicyclists going from the southern usa to alaska. even met a couple from argentina, who were making the trek on their mountain bikes.

Lundar beach looks great! Been forever since I’ve been in that part of the world. Almost as long as s it’s been since I was up around Watson Lake for that sign forest. Sounds like just an awesome trip all round!
