J&L 2020 Ford Escape - 2021 Ford Bronco Sport 1.5L (Passenger Side mount) Oil Separator with the Black anodized canister. Click here to see kit
I am trading in my 2020 Escape with the 1.5L engine and I am removing the J & L Catch Can kit. I've had it installed on the vehicle for about 6 months (1500 miles). It does a good job of capturing oil before it enters the intake. It is super simple to install....just push in on the tabs on the OEM CCV hose and pull it off of the nipple and snap the new hoses on. Installation or removal might take you 10 minutes max.
Also included is the alternator belt cover and mounting nut and bolt. This spaces the J&L mount back just a bit so that the hoses fit perfectly. (it isn't necessary, but I ordered since I noticed it in the photos on the J&L web site.
I drained and cleaned the can shortly after I installed it and then did an oil change. Since then, I've driven 991 miles and you can see in the photos how much oil that it has kept out of the intake.
Kit will also fit the Ford Escape with the 1.5L.
$115.00 includes shipping and PayPal fees.
If you happen to be local to western SD you can pick it up for $100
A bought a kit a couple of years ago and never installed it......wound up buying another kit later on. That's why you see a similar ad from 2022.
Check the compatible vehicle chart as this will fit multiple year models for the Bronco and the Escape.
