The folks over at TrailMilitia just released a nice comparison of a modified Crosstrek vs a stock badlands on some relatively tough trails. Lots of wheels in the air, at any rate. Well worth a watch:

What funny is I saw some of this video yesterday, the girl is in one of the bronco sport facebook groups I'm in. I saw the preview on here and was like waiting a minute!

True but she also drove it like the rookie she was! Just point and go. She had the spotter but I cringed multiple times on her throttle use.

It will be nice if someone actually comes out with a metal replacement for the felt drivers liner.
