Today's gripe with FORScan

So, part of the reason I spent the $69.99 for the adapter was so I could add a new key for my 2019 Ford Escape. An attempt to this yields:

"Not available under trial extended license"

What was the purpose of adding the 2 extended month license if it doesn't allow key programming!!! Arghhhh.

It isn't about the trial. I went through the trial extended license request and pasted it in no problem:

forscan is saying that this is not a good enough license. It wants a paid extended license, not a trial extended license!

I sent you the link to obtain the license for Forscan.

You cannot program keys on these newer vehicles with FORScan. You can't even do it with FDRS with a DIY user login. Unless something has changed and AFAIK, keys can only be programmed with FDRS with a Ford dealer login or with NFTSA credentials for vehicles on Sync 4 and possibly some Sync 3 vehicles, too.
