Springtime in Gladwin, Michigan means water on the trails! Woohoo!

spots in Gladwin get pretty flooded this time of year. Just have to know which holes to avoid!I haven't seen water like that since I went to Drummond Island!
not sure it’s an official strategy…. My position however is you want to keep your momentum going! Definitely don’t want to stop. Also was using manual mode to stay locked in 1st gear. You don’t want it shifting! When the sport shifts there is a momentary drop in power and I noticed the BS really bogs down!Cool video!
Ok, I have a silly question. Are you accelerating fast through the water just for fun or is that an off-roading strategy?
You definitely don’t want to hit water that is deep or might be deep fast. You create a wave over your hood and that’s when you create issues for yourself like flooding your engine. Going slow will push the water away from your car slowly and keep the wave in front of you.Cool video!

And THIS is precisely why I traded my 6 week old OBx back in for a Badlands 'Squatch. WANT TO GO GET DIRTY!!!!!!Springtime in Gladwin, Michigan means water on the trails! Woohoo!
agreed. However… water was deep enough that even at lower speeds the water was washing up over the hood. And yes I did have a moment of panic but at that point I was committed. You definitely don’t want to hit water that is deep or might be deep fast. I will have to check it out!OP, you need to join us in the Badlands Park in Indiana when the Chicago broncos go. It’s a fun place (although you already know where to find fun!)
