Non badlands doesn't have the skid plates! ? ? ? I wouldn't go anywhere off road with a non badlands! Under the engine is the same felt that's under the belly, RIPS RIGHT OFF (ask how I know, lol)
To each their own, but if you look under and compare a non badlands to a badlands, you'll see what I mean.

Why not both? Haha!! If I'm going to build anything for serious off roading I've been wanting to find an old Scout 80 and drop in one of those crate 2.8 Cummins engines that are out now. I do have a '52 Willys wagon I'm in the middle of but going back to mostly stock with that one. Honestly I just like building projects of all flavors.
Part of me or most of me just wants to drive not build.

Part of me or most of me just wants to drive not build.
I get that, but man I'd go nuts if I didn't have some projects to work on. That's why you gotta have multiple projects going at different stages at all times. That way there's always something to drive while ya fart with the rest.
