Sync Navigation Map update NA 2 21

I updated my 21 OB to NA 2 21. Download is no charge. The download is large and will require a USB-A or USB-C flash drive.

Here is the link:

https://www.ford.com/support/sync-maps-updates/
The biggest pain is running the engine for 45 min to an hour to run the update! That sucks.

Oh well, done with that for another year anyway, hopefully

Your probably Ok........, don't worry about it. These map updates happen once a year, so you probably have the latest version anyway.

The maps require to be done over USB it's about 12 Gigs
This. The only updates you'll get over the air are those specifically related to Sync. No map updates included.

Has anyone captured what the current version displays as? I am showing 3.4 Build 22200_PRODUCT after updating and I'm not sure that is correct.

that appears to be the latest. And Navigation Maps Version: NA 2 21 is the latest Nav version.

you can use the following link to enter your VIN to check for updates:

Even after browsing for and finding the newly created XML file on the drive, the website still tells me there is an available update. I've seen that behavior before.

My understanding is you will want to have your bronco sport on WiFi, then on the 8” display Settings, General screen, do a search for latest Sync software which should show you are up-to-date (22200) and this communicates to the Ford Server so in a couple of days after doing that when you check again on the following website you will (should) see that your Sync is up to date:

https://www.ford.com/support/sync-maps-updates/

Try that and if in a few days does not show you have latest sync let me know.

Since the only place my BS has reliable wifi is inside my garage, I have auto updates disabled. I follow the manual process for updating via USB. The update drops an XML file back on the flash drive that you can upload to the website to confirm the update. It just doesn't work reliably.
