Just purchased a 2025 Ford Bronco Sport Big Bend. Was shocked to find out afterward that there is no spare tire or jack.
Instead, it came with a tire inflation kit. Is it possible to get a spare tire and jack that can be secured in the trunk area ?

Another deletion for new model year so unless someone has a 25 model year where they added the spare tire as after market probably not going to get much information.

Here is information on spare tires from the 2024 and 2025 Order Guides.
2025 BS Order Guide Big Bend Standard equipment:
Tires
— 225/65R17 102H All-Season (A/S) BSW
â—Ź Tire Inflator and Sealant Kit

2024 BS Order Guide Big Bend Standard Equipment:
Tires
— 225/65R17 102H All-Season (A/S) BSW
— Mini Spare Tire

For 2025 you would have to get the Black Diamond off Road package (later availability) to get a full size spare. Doesn't look like there is even an option for just a spare tire (mini or full size) for 25 Model Year. For OBX you would need to add Sasquatch package also late availability. Full size spare tire is not standard until you get to Badlands Trim.

I am sure you can purchase the spare tire but not sure what it would take to make sure the spare tire and jack are securely fastened into the trunk area where the spare would go.

Here is a link to Ford Parts website when searching spare tire to give you an idea of cost: https://parts.ford.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/en/us/SearchDisplay?searchTerm=spare+tire&storeId=1405&catalogId=251&langId=-1&searchType=keyword#facet:&productBeginIndex:0&orderBy:&pageView:&minPrice:&maxPrice:&pageSize:&

I took mine from my 19 jeep Cherokee overland and put in my 25 BSOB. Discount Tire is where I purchased it from and they assured me it would work with my Bronco. Fits like a glove in the back.

I think it is somewhat of a safety issue. The tire inflator cannot be used in all flat tire situations such as a puncture in the sidewall. This is one item that at the very least where a mini spare should be offered as a stand alone option and something that can be purchased from Ford as an OEM after market with the Dealer installing the spare an option.

I have been through this with my Mustang and the Bronco Sport. I bought a mini spare, jack kit, and hold down on eBay for a reasonable price and it all fit great. Allow me a little time and I'll gather the details for your shopping list.

The hold down parts (and info) can also be bought from various Ford parts sites. For the tire/wheel, look for 21-25 BS Sport (Escort). The jack should have the handle attached not separate like some show. Using the mini will allow you to keep the floor at the same level. If you have any questions, let me know.

I just took my never-has-seen-the-light-of-day full-size spare out of my 2023 BS BL and substituted in a fifth wheel so I can do 5-tire rotations. Will be putting it up for sale shortly. It will be interesting to see if there's any interest now that a spare is no longer included....

I’ve got one too but in the past there wasn’t any interest.

Is there a storage area to put a spare in? I would not drive anywhere that I couldn't be towed without a spare. I have had two tires destroyed. Having a spare is essential.

Just a note — posted my full size spare & wheel for sale in member marketplace. So far no interest, but it’s still available.

I offered mine for free to my brother-in-law as he has a Big Bend with a mini spare. He declined stating he would just call a tow truck. I guess that’s the way of the future.

Yup, probably going to set it out front, tired of it sitting against my garage wall . . . Who’d thunk it.

Many BS owners replace the OE wheels and tires. That might be another option -- although if a person has a set of 4 they probably want to sell them as a set.

As for the fit, IDK but I'd guess that the spare storage area is the same across all BS trims. Our BL has plenty of room for the full size spare. In fact, there's enough space to store a thick 30 foot recovery rope.
