Seat fabric anchor not holding.

I tried to search but not really sure what to call the part…

The piece that secures my drivers side seat fabric to the structure of the seat keeps popping off. It is a plastic piece that seems to want to lock on a metal flange under the front of the seat.

I have popped it on a few times but doesn’t want to stay. I know the dealer can deal with it under warranty but not due for a trip for a while as I only have 300mi on it.

figured I would check with the collective knowledge here to see if I am missing something simple.

Haven't had that issue but I know the piece you mean from when I installed front seat pads. I'm guessing you're just not pushing it all the way home to lock it down. But it's possible the plastic rail isn't grabbing. GLWR.

I had that happen to my '21, kept getting loose. Ford tried to fix it but had to order and install a new seat cover as the original seat cover was to tight and the plastic clip broke. All under warranty.

I will give it a tap with a rubber mallet and see if that helps

I just ran into the same issue after 2 weeks of ownership. How do I connect it back in?

The dealer had some trick to lock it in place….

My 2023 just did this today. I tried to stretch it enough to get it back in place. I couldn't do it. I'll try again tomorrow and if I am still unable to get it secured, I'll stop at the dealership next week.
