Saving gas and battery life… how-to recommendations

Anyone else familiar with these topics regarding how to improve fuel economy and improve your battery’s service life? I came across these on Youtube and I found them quite interesting. Has anyone ever tried these and did they actually make a difference for you?

Definitely turned off Trailer Sway Control. Although my Bronco Sport has the trailer hitch package (something I wasn’t interested in but it was already on the vehicle I wanted) I don’t have any trailer to pull and not likely to have one in the foreseeable future. Also definitely turned off automatic software updates. I have that turned off on my iPhone and iPad as well.

As a normal practice I often turn the climate control system off unless I actually need the heater or air conditioning.

I cant see on my 2025 BL any adjustment for AC other than on/off, temp setting, recirc and fan speed. No eco

I can dig it up in PTS to see if it's still in there. I doubt it will though if the TSB is from 2019.

Yeah … could have been summarized on one chart each video

Most YouTube videos I only look at the Transcript, way easier to scroll through and if there is no Transcript and the video is loo long I’ll skip and find another source for the info

Unfortunately I could not remember how to paste in only the link and not have broncosportforum convert to the actual video - the link goes quickly to the Transcript so getting to the transcript in this forum is an exercise for the reader

This made me realize I lve had trailer sway control on since the day I bought it. Does it usually come from factory being turned on? Turned it off this morning cause it seems weird to have sensors working harder than they need to
