Rubber hood weatherstripping staining the top of the plastic grill.

Noticed this while cleaning under the hood. Has been really hot here in Texas. What's the best way to remove these "stains" without scratching up the plastic?

Mine leaves a little trace as well. I use a little bit of Meguiar’s PlastX or Meguiar’s Quick Detailer Mist & Wipe. Use a micro fiber cloth rubbing lightly. Even after a couple applications, if light is right you can still see a faint trace.
