Can you put rims on the 2021 BS BB that do not have the air pressure sensors and how will it affect your computer warning system?

My guess is that it would throw a code, just like when the TPMS sensors go bad.

You could ignore the warning light and deal with it ... but codes freak-out buyers when you go to sell.

Replacement TPMS sensors on my daughter's car were about $100/each including labor.

Thanks for replying, My dealer wants to sell me his steel rims and new snow tires with the sensor in the rims for an extra $300.00 dollars for the sensors. I heard there was a way of disabling the warning light if you didn't have the sensors so I was wondering if anyone here on the forum knew how to do that.

I didn't get the sensors on my winter tires either, even though the salesmen was pressuring me to. Either when I first start my vehicle or later during my drive the message comes up saying "tire pressure monitor at fault". I just hit ok and it goes away, and the little symbol (yellow) stays on. Sometimes it beeps when the alert appears, sometimes it doesn't.

My buddy ( owns a Escape) didn't get sensors put on his winter tires and found not all modes were available to him. for 65 dollars a tire, not worth the stress.

all modes are working properly on the bs even without the sensors.

You can disable the tpms system and chimes with Forscan by the way
