Recently damaged the d pillar on the drivers side (black piano trim next to the lift glass).

Has anyone successfully replaced this? Looks like there are rivets under the glass on but also either glued or riveted under the trunk glass behind the rear passenger window

A while back, something broke my driver's side rear quarter glass. That trim that was mentioned cannot be reused and had to be replaced. Total cost for replacement of the glass and trim was $900! Was it just the trim that was damaged? Cheers!

Seems easy enough. See attached.

dang that's frustrating it can't be reused. My c pillar is fine, hoping a body shop can remove it then reinstall it with similar tape adhesive that's being used today. Seems like a lot of work to replace the d pillar -_- thx ford
