Figured I post a reply here rather than make my own post, but for those curious about removing the rear seat on the badlands/any model with the underseat storage, it works quite well! Follow the steps laid out the MountianMack. What ends up happening is that the top of the seat with the storage stays in place as opposed to the other side (where the whole cushion is removed). What’s nice about this is that the top allows the seat back to fold nearly level, as opposed to below level. Hopefully this and the pictures make sense.

Just curious, have you noticed that after removing and reinstalling the seats that the Rear Passenger Check goes off every time you stop the engine? Up until removing the seat the first time, I only got the warning if something or something was sitting in the back while the engine was running.
