Remote Start Question

Aren't there default settings (Defrost, rear window, seat heaters) that are supposed to turn on upon Remote starting with my phone?

Mine starts but nothing else comes on. Yes, it is set to Auto rather than Last Setting in the settings

Yes, none of the displays will work until you press the start button with the fob inside the vehicle.

The manual discusses system settings for remote start on pg 118 (2021 MY).

Auto makes them come on based on the outside temp. Depending on how cold it is mine will turn on the Drivers Heated seat, Heated Steering Wheel, and Rear Defroster. It also will cool or warm the interior to 70 degrees I think.

Absolutely the best part about the start from phone feature! Warm seats, windows frost free, and you no longer see your breath when you get in the car even at below 0!

Mine does exactly that, depending on how cold it is outside.

I didn't change any settings.

Just to be clear… when you get into the vehicle everything shows off but after pressing the START button you will see what was/is operating.

Check your settings. Mine were preset, but that doesn’t mean yours were.

Not sure if a Sync update might address this or even a simple reset of the system. Dealer should be able to help with either of those at minimum.

Just scrolled through the screen to see various settings, I saw a remote start title in the vehicle sync3 screen. Might be able to set remote start features there, I did not click to open the menu item.
