Is Ford part # 6M2Z-17A954-A the correct number for a '23 OBX recovery hook? Is there a spot in the spare tire compartment to store this hook?

I'm still torn. I looked on the Ford OEM parts site. It lists this hook by # but says it does not fit the Bronco Sport. Who is right?

Yes. That one fit my Badlands (which does not have a trailer hitch) perfectly and I keep it stored beside my spare tire.

I have a 2023 obx with the tow package from the factory, does that mean I don't need a tow hook, do I just tow it with the factory hitch?

Yes. Experience to date indicates that the threaded receiver for the tow hook is eliminated by the factory hitch installation due to space issues. You can yank your vehicle using the hitch.
