Yeah, I got this in the post today too.
Odd, since I don’t believe my car has had the first recall…unless it was applied without my knowledge when it was serviced or when it was in for the sunroof repair.

The dealers should be checking for recalls any time they have your vehicle in for service. They may have listed it on a previous invoice.
At least it’ll be done correctly this time.?

Just had this done yesterday by mobile service. Took about a half hour.

Done for now till the next recall of a recall of a recall.
How do you know it was done correctly this time?

Don't really know. Tech says it's good, for now.

I won't be surprised if there's another one down the road.

Original battery was a L.A. Replaced under warranty with an AGM 1 -1/2 years ago.

That one wouldn't hold a charge. Replaced on my own dime in March with a Walmart Everstart AGM with a 4 year free replacement.

Will this recall help, who knows but my ass is covered battery wise for the next 4 years if needed.
