I have a 2021 BS Outer Banks

I noticed my rear wiper wasnt turning so I went to lift the glass and I can see the rear motor is rotating back and forth but if i close the glass and try, the wiper doesnt move. I also noticed that If I try to open the lift glass after having attempted to use the wiper and then shutting it off i have to really pull to open it which makes a ping sound.

Where as if I then close it and unlock it again it opens easily up like it always did until I've tried the wiper again.

Any thoughts? Doesn't seem like motor but I'm not sure what else to really look at? Trying to avoid garage repair costs if its something I can just do myself.

UPDATE: Seems like the arm itsself is seized, popped by the dealer and we looked at it and with some cutting fluid and lube was able to get it moving again and going back and forth but it still seems seized between the 9 and 10 o clock position and they suggested taking it off and cleaning off with a wire brush or something whatever debris is causing restricting it there. Might be something I can do myself when I have time to take it off and see whats causing the friction in the arm. It at least moves now though im not sure how this has exactly happened unless something from the heat and humidity recently has caused it.
