My rear window keeps coming unlatched at random times. (When I'm parked with the car running, driving down the road, or after it has sat all night). The warning will come on the dash, ill go check and sure enough it will be unlatched. I have taken it in 2 times now and they say they have no idea what's wrong or how to fix it. Any one else having this issue and how did you get it fixed?

Hi Jamie! I can look into your Bronco's window concern on my end. To get started, could you please send a private message over with the name/location of your local Ford dealer and your Bronco's VIN?

WOW I have had the same thing happen on my 2023 Badlands, I thought it was just me hitting the button accidentally as I was opening the hatch door, or I was becoming that old man people talk about!!! Woo hoo it isn’t me, I thought I was giving up my sanity.

Hey mine does the same, Ford gremlins maybe?
P.S. No offence to the AMC Gremlin owners past and present.

When I go running at the beach or on the trails, I use the securicode to lock/unlock the door so I don't have to carry the key with me. I have noticed that when I open the door using the securicode, the rear window opens. There were a few times that I didn't notice what was happening and then I had to stop to close the window. Now I check the window and close it before I start driving away.

The last digit of your Securicode is 5/6. You're double pressing 5/6 when punching in the code adding a 6th digit. For any code, X-X-X-X-X-5/6 unlocks the vehicle and also unlatches the rear lift glass. Adding a 2/3 to the end unlocks every door.

The same thing happens to me too!!! I thought it was something I was doing. Drives me nuts. I have to pull over and shut the back window all the time.

I not sure I understand what you're saying?

He's saying that after a person has entered his/her 5 digit code, they can add an additional 5/6 to open the rear window, or a 2/3 to unlock all of the doors. And he's suggesting that sometimes people are accidentally pressing the 5/6 to unlock the rear glass.

From the Owners Manual

Basic Operating Instructions for Keypad:
- Unlock Driver's Door: Enter the 5-digit access code
- Unlock All Doors: Press the 3•4 button within 5 sec of entering 5-digit access code
- Lock All Doors: Press the 7•8 and 9•0 buttons at the same time (no need for 5-digit code to be entered)
- Unlock rear hatch: Press the 5•6 button within 5 sec of entering 5-digit access code

As stated earlier … depending on your 5-digit access code and/or inadvertent button presses, the rear hatch could get unlocked within 5 sec of entering the 5-digit access code.

LOL, really dating myself but we had a yellow AMC Gremlin back in the day. Haven't thought about that car in forever.

Hopes it under warranty. If so, tell them to figure it out.
In fact, even if it was not under warranty, this is a Ford, they are a Ford dealer.

For them to say they have no idea what's wrong or how to fix it is unacceptable, to put it politely.

The inadvertent keypad entries are worth considering. That might be the cause for some owners, but many/most people do not use the keypad.
