What is a good method of protecting from brush scratches? Is Ceramic coatings the best cost effective method?
Anyone use products like Rhinohide? Are there american made products similar?

If you’re talking about a snow brush. Unfortunately even a ceramic coating will be prone to scratching from that. Think about all that sand dirt and salt that’s underneath that snow. You will be using that brush and dragging all that stuff across the paint as you make your passes with it. You will have a lot of swirl marks that will need correcting. Best thing you can do is carefully brush off everything but the bottom quarter inch of snow and let that melt off naturally from the sun and or engine heat

Foam is going to have the same problem. It isn’t the brush or foam itself causing the scratches it’s the the dirt and salt between your brush/foam that will cause scratches and paint swirling.

Everybody needs Arizona pin stripes.
I think the low grade plastic bumper covers suffer more than the paint as long as the scratches don't damage the clearcoat. At least you can use wax and some elbow grease to help preserve the paint.
The bumper cover plastic is easily scratched just like the interior plastic, not much can be done with the plastic except disguise any damage with something like Meguiars black plastic restorer.
