I was wondering if anyone on here has both PPF and fender flares installed on their Bronco Sport. Actually, any add on over the ppf for that matter.
If so, have there been any issues with adhesion or any issues that have arisen?

PPF stands for paint protection film. I am wondering if it would cause any issues once the film is installed on the fenders to have the flares put on top of it.
Do the flares need to be adhered to the fenders or is just clips holding them in place?

I have the window vents over PPF. No problems. When I told the PPF guy I wanted the window vents. he wanted to install them to make sure there would be no problems. He was nice enough he didn't even up charge me for the install. He also applied ceramic coating over the PPF, although I am sure that was done after the vents.

I added the Ford Accessories flares that use urethane, 3m tape and clamps to attach. I had ppf installed at delivery. For the flare install I scored the ppf at the flares edge and peeled it off so that the adhesive would bond to the fender.

This is what I was considering. In hindsight, do you feel it was the best way to go?

Yes, the ppf isn’t really protecting anything under the flares…and even if it was it would only do so on that front fender area…
