Took a day trip down to the ancient Wichita Mountains of SW OK. Always see wildlife there. I've roamed these old mountains since I was a kid. Home to Quanah Parker and Geronimo. Lots of history here as well as great wildlife viewing. Lil Green Bronco did fine.

Toby's place. Hollywood Corners in Norman, OK, has been a roadhouse/honkytonk, grocery, bait shop since 1925. Norman native James Garner worked there before he took off for Hollywood and a famed career in acting.

A friend of mine operated the Corners in the nineties when my grandsons were young. We made a lot of stops for bait and old-fashioned soda pops.

Toby Keith bought it a few years before his death and it was kinda his clubhouse. Just down Franklin Road from where he lived. He would often pop in for a sandwich or to sit in with local bands. Two vintage gas pumps sell high octane gas for hot rods. It's a gathering place for lotsa folks.

Every week there is a hot rod night, bike night etc. One of those places. This one just ain't the same without Toby, though.
