Perimeter plus for 2026 bronco sport badlands

Has anyone had the perimeter plus system installed in a 2026 BS Badlands? I ordered one from the accessory site and the dealer today, they're telling me that what Ford sent them doesn't fit. Also, they're telling me that the obd2 port was relocated to the center behind the dash and thats where the perimeter plus gets installed.
I had one put in my 2024 big bend and it, the obd2 port was behind the hood Release on the left side of the steering column. I'm confused over what these guys are doing.

I'm not sure what "the OBD2 port was relocated to the center behind the dash" means. There are very strict requirements in CCR 1968.2 that specify that the OBD port must be accessible and located near the driver's foot-well region. I'm aware of manufacturers who have been penalized for inappropriately covering the port. I doubt it's been moved to a location that's not very accessible.

When I picked up my car from the dealership I looked and sure as he!! the OBD2 port is right where it always was above my left foot behind the the hood release... ergo Dealer tech fail = dumbA

Its a security feature that reports impacts and possible breakins to the car thru the ford app as well chirps or blast the horn depending on the level of the perceived threat, as well it adds keyfob start to the car from about 300 feet away. Had it installed in my 2024 BSBB and I liked it a lot
