True, and hardly unique to Ford. Every major group or corporation that has a patent granted is statistically unlikely to ever implement it in a meaningful way. Of the over 12.6 million patents issued by the USPTO (with another 300K or so granted annually), only ~40% have ever seen the light of day as an actual product or process.

It's why I got the '25 BL instead. A dealership told me they're dropping it from all of their future vehicles because of overheating issues. Seems like crap to me since other companies have no problems with theirs.

Ford announced they are bringing back the interior wireless phone charging feature at least in some vehicles - announced already for a select set of models and model years

Yea Fords CEO Jim Farley is more interested in trying to get President Trump and congress to remove your right to repair on your own vehicles.
