Order Update

I ordered my Bronco Outerbanks in February and other than a confirmation email from Ford have nothing else. Dealer supposedly hasn’t heard either. Is this normal

Super normal. You won't hear anything again until it is scheduled for production.

I ordered March 16 receive confirm email that day. On April 2 I got email saying production scheduled week of May 24.

I would have thought mine would be in production since it’s been over 6 weeks

I ordered mine August 13th. Received the scheduled production email January 26. It was built 4/7, shipped 4/8.

Next week is my build week (I ordered an Outer Banks with CMS on 2/10) and I’m getting nervous, hoping I don’t get an email saying it’s being pushed back. Fingers crossed!

Just got our update. Built week of June 28. Dealer said not to expect delivery until August or September. Like you ordered in Feb.

That stinks, I’m sorry you’re having to wait so long after ordering in Feb.

I understand your pain but try waiting 9 months. I finally visited mine in person this morning parked in the ferry terminal after coming “across the pond” last night on a freight boat with another BS. The other BS must also be an order because both Broncos were pulled from the “new vehicle lane”, leaving 6 Jeeps in line, and put on a boat last night. Hopefully I’ll take delivery Tuesday after they prep it. (Thank god because my wife is tired of me hitting refresh on the ferry terminal camera. )

I think Ford can get past the moonroof and tow package issues, but I wish you luck with the chip issues and getting all of the electronics fitted.

I would have thought mine would be in production since it’s been over 6 weeks

I ordered 11/27/20. Was told production would be 3/1/21. Received an email about a week prior to 3/1. The email description was not for the vehicle I ordered. Long story short, I was told they had two orders for me. I was then told the vehicle I ordered would go into production on 4/26... tomorrow.Have my salesman following up to confirm production. I have not received an email from Ford for my 4/26 date. About ready to buy a jeep ?

Same here.
Between the failed ordering fiasco I went through last month combined with what appears to be some design and manufacturing issues that need sorted, I am warming up again to a Cherokee.

That's not to say I won't get a Sport later, but it's been too much of a roller coaster. I've been active on this forum since early 2020 and my interest is starting to wain.

We ended up getting a BL but without the BL package. Are enjoying it and glad we didn’t change to a different brand
