Not seeing much action in the Mid-Atlantic forum

I really surprised I'm not seeing more activity in the Mid Atlantic forum. I know there have been a bunch of Bronco Sports sold around here and even more still on order.

Yeah, I'm damned if I live in VA and damned if I live in MD.

VA has personal property tax for cars and the like
MD has county assessed income taxes

Guess it comes down to who I feel the least bad about paying

Years ago I leased another car in its first model year. Paid the tax bill the first year, got the bill the second year and it was higher. Made a few phone calls and figured out that because the car was brand new the year I bought it, they assessed me at the base price. By year two they figured out the car had over $8k worth of options on it.

Didnt get lucky with my last car which was another first model year vehicle. Maybe we’ll get our tax bills for our BS this year assessed at the base price ?

Wouldn't that be nice! Might be why I didn't think the tax was too outrageous when the 1st half year bill came due.
