Just looked at a review, for the 2025 Badlands. I really like the new 360 view camera system, with the view down the side of the car and the dynamic traction lines and tire tracks for the front view. not a fan of so many controls, put on screen now or really the new interior colors. The reviewer mentioned that the bronco sport is a sub compact car and that’s one of the things. I really enjoy about it for off-road use, here in our East Coast mountains. Shortly after I saw the review, I went to the store and saw how tiny it looked, relative to the vehicle near me, partly because it’s not be very long and It’s also got a 2 inch lift on it. Still it has more interior space than my brother’s Forrester, that we were using before I bought my Badlands. First picture.

Second picture is my new use for traction boards, now that I’m in my 70s, this seems to be a much easier way to get wheels and tires in and out of the back of the car for my seasonal tire change.

Great idea! Here in Texas we don't change tires by the seasons. We do have 4 seasons though, HURRICANE, FLOOD FIRE AND TORNADO.
Which seasons provide electrical outages too

Howdy Joe,

Welcome! I too am a long term FORD owner. Like you my first vehicle was a FORD, a 1954 Customline. I paid $150.00 for it, and it came with a FREE case of 30 wieght oil to support the leaky rear main seal. I loved that little cream colored two door.

My 1st was a 64 Fairlane wagon, 260 and Mustang buckets, $25 in 1974!

My twin brother & I shared a 1950 Ford 4 door, early 1960's. I think it was a 239 C.I. flathead V8. I'm not sure we ever changed the oil because it burned and leaked so bad. Had a gas station nearby that sold refined oil for 15 cents a quart. That was its diet.

It went through generators & voltage regulators it seemed monthly. All we could afford was rebuilt ones so that didn't help.

Added some white porta walls, a 3 speed floor shifter, and a glass pack muffler. A JC Whitney catalog was our go to reading material. But at 15 years old we were king sh!!t. Memories.

I can relate. My FORD was a hand me down in my best friends family. His parents ordered him a 1970 Gran Torino, so that meant his 54 FORD was up for sale. It had "Baby Moon" hub caps and a 3 speed floor shifter. So we struck a deal. The radio was a vacuum tube AM radio that took a couple of minutes to warm up and start playing.
