New tires installed: BFG Trail-Terrain T/A

I think the KO2s look great and the white letters are classic but I couldn’t justify all the mpg drop I was reading, plus weight. I also didn’t want to buy anything solely based on looks. I put those tires on my Big Bend at 1400 miles. I also had the 1.5 inch lift on it. I immediately lost 5 mpg. However, I used Forscan to change the tire size and regained 4 mpg immediately. I also got rid of the stupidly annoying double beep. And just for grins, I changed the fog lights to stay on when the high beams are operating.

After sliding around on Conties, went for the Trail A/Ts in 235/65. Day & night difference in the snow. Being in Western NY, a big issue in winter

I think these might be my next choice. I have had K02’s since 7k and currently sitting at 27k on the odometer. To be expected they are noisy but I’m not as impressed with their on road performance or character as I expected… especially for one that’s been on the market for 20+ years.

I’ve got a 1.5” level kit on it. I’ve read that 245/65/17s will fit stock height as well however.

Do you experience any tire rub when turning with the 245’s on?

I'm still at stock height and as of yet (about 1 year on) I haven't noticed any rub with the 245s.

Those are the tires I want to put on my wife's 21 BS/BB in the Summer to replace the Continental's that are on it & put them on my 05 F150. Thanks for the review, they look nice on your BS.
