Not bad for just 20yrs. old. However, when in reverse it doesn't have the guide lines. Its just a base Badlands, I was wondering maybe it needed a package or something. He was going to get a 2025 Big Bend but Ford had such a good deal on left over 2024s we went with the Badlands. Any help greatly appreciated.

Try disconnecting the battery for a couple minutes. Google the issue and you’ll find a handful of threads from the Bronco and Maverick forums where this has happened. Could also need reprogrammed.

Search ā€œ no guidelines ford backup cameraā€

The guidelines are configurable in the settings for each user profile.

This thread is for a 2024… there are user profiles with configurable guidelines? Haven’t seen that.

I just pulled it up from a generic Google search but it should apply. I've found that very topic in three year old forum threads for multiple Ford models including the BS.

The consistent answers were either user profile settings or reinitialization if it's actually faulted out.

My ā€˜25 BS BB just stopped showing the reverse lines. There doesn’t seem to be a setting to enable or disable grid lines under Assistance. Just started occurring after running through a touchless car wash.

UPDATE: Grabbed quick lunch at the local pub. Car sat ~30 minutes. I tapped on the camera and gave lens a quick swipe with my finger. Backup lines returned. Either something got wet or there was a water droplet/stain on the lens?

UPDATE2: I turned the vehicle off and back on while the car wash was still running, likely when the vehicle was covered in soap. I wonder if either the blind spot object detection sensors or camera does some sort of check/calibration on power up. It was when I backed into a parking spot at the pub that the reverse lines were not displayed. I might put tape over the camera to see if I can replicate the symptoms.
