I got to see a Badlands today at my dealer. The Ford trainer brought one by for the staff. My first impression was that it was bigger than I thought it would be. I have a C-RV and it was taller. It looks like a Bronco in front but the rest of it reminds me of the original Explorer. The fit and finish were excellent. Solid door thump. The back glass open with the cargo management system is very practical. The seat leather was very handsome and the perforations will be good in hot weather. Happy overall!

How did did the back glass door seem structurally? Does it seem like it will last through lots of use? Did it keep a secure seal?

It was solid and seemed durable. It had a thick seal similar to a moonroof one. Might have to maintain it with some sort of conditioner over the long run.

Very cool, the white looks great. I wish the “Bronco sport” letters across the back were black instead of white.

How would you charcterize the seat height and getting in compared to your CRV for example ? Curious if the increased road clearance translates into much of a step in height. Thanks.

Is the brown leather dark or fairly light? I've seen pictures showing both but figured it was camera. exposure.

I did sit in it briefly. It’s a little higher than the C-RV. I am 5’ 6. and just could turn and sit down. In the C-RV I have to bend down a bit to get in.

THanks for feedback. My dealer only had demo here last month for 30 minutes so only staff go to see it. I know others on forum had same question because to get 2L engine you have to move up (literally!) to Badlands and questions was how much up for seating.

Hi Cathy,
I see you are in South Florida. What dealership were you at? I am waiting for one in Delray Beach.
Thanks!

I’ve noticed a few of these dealer instruction sports have the velour floor mats in the back!!! Not being used because they don’t want to get em dirty as they’ll be selling them as used. If anyone gets to see another one of these please take photos. I won’t be able to see one until my dealer gets their training session late November... whomp whomp...

So first to finish, someone take photos of the velour floor mats that do come with the Badlands Sport.

It looks like the white Badlands is the only version without contrasting Bronco Sport badging on the back... does anyone know if there's a way to order it with black badging? I'd rather not resort to Plastidipping this when I get it...
