My Bronco Sport got Some Bang!

Ordered a JBL BassPro Hub for my BS BB. I have the towing package so it comes with the full-size spare. I had to hunt down some mounting hardware because JBL only includes an M8 mounting post. Ordered an M10 threaded rod from Grainger and cut it down myself. Picked up the M10 wing nut and fender washer at Home Depot. Had my boy, that is a car audio installer for Best Buy, do the install.

Man this thing puts out some bass! I have the gain turned up about 25%... go too high and it makes the heat shield under the spare tire well vibrate loud.

I highly recommend this for you grown ups that want some thump but don't want to lose trunk space.

O.K. I gotta ask, I had a set up in my F150 SuperCrew consisting of a down fire box with 2 10 inch subwoofers with a 1500 watt amp, both Rockford Fosgate items. So my question would be if you think the jbl unit would hit just as hard as my stuff ???

I had a 500W Alpine Type R sub in my first car...... I'm sure my parents' neighbors loved it whenever I went up and down the street.

Been thinking of getting a sub for the BS. I definitely like this since you won't lose any cargo space.

So you had them hook it up to the factory radio? Are there connections or spliced in? Just picked up JBL speakers for the doors. Can't wait for mine to get built so I can get going on all the parts I've ordered for it.

Can you pass along the color code for the rear speaker wires you tapped please? I imagine you tapped them in the B pillar? Thanks!
