Though, I wonder if its shipping without support, PERIOD, or without the feature currently enabled.

I ask as I went to a GMC dealer and their window stickers have stuff "deleted" with later activation, i.e. heated seats, second row AC controls, etc ...The rep said the options are indeed installed but won't work until GMC/GM pops in the right chip/module.

I can vouch for this on our 2020 Mercedes-Benz glb. Since 2021 have been coming with less features every couple months. I know for a fact you can't get it with a automatic opening trunk anymore. Also the emergency response has been discontinued. All things that are included on our 2020.
