San Antonio, TX to Provo, UT and back, (about 2600 miles) plus about 500 miles while there. Running 91 or 93 octane. Running 70-75 on the hwy, occasionally 80, and mostly with cruise control. Total trip was 25 mpg. Elevation was from about 1000 feet to 5000 feet with occasional 7000 feet over the mountains. Mileage there was about 22-23 (mostly uphill) and back (mostly downhill) was nearly 28. The Bronco was great except for a flat tire! We had a lot of fun on some rocky off-road trails in the mountains up to about 7000 feet!

That is about what I got on the first road trip. Going up to the Eastern Sierras avg 23.5 on the highway. By the time I got back home after about 900 miles, it averaged to about 25 mpg.

This is with a roof basket and couple of recovery board tied on top. The bike sitting on the platform rack in the back probably has some but min effect on fuel efficiency. I’m also on Wildpeak AT Trail 235 instead of the factory AT3

Btw, beautiful fall sceneries!
