Loud Studders and Vibrations while turning in low speeds

hello.

i have a 2023 big bend. last month i started noticing vibrations and a low studder sound while turning. lately its been getting worse and i need to try to get time off work to get this resolved. is this a known issue with bronco sports? fingers crossed theres a recall or tsb

My 21 BB did that. It was the rear differential. It cost 3,000 to repair without the extended warranty. Good luck.

One of the few times the extended warranty would pay for itself (it's more than a few but Ford likely still makes very good profit)

You are right. I've never bought an extended warranty and have never needed it. It was a big mistake not buying it for this car.

Me too, but my wife talked me into it this time and I’m very happy she did.
These new cars have a lot more things that can go wrong and repair costs are much higher now.

Looks like Ford may be replacing the Rear Drive Unit in our 2021 BS OB . Slow speed tight turns making like a rubbing noise , in the shop now 29,690 miles . should be covered under Drive Train warranty , but if not we do have an extended warranty for a couple more years.

Will post what was done when they get back to me . Took it in for Battery recall also .

Replaced RDU ( covered under warranty )& the wife said it feels tighter driving . Last I drove the BS it seemed wishy washy in the rear , I thought it was the Tires or Shocks , might have been a looseness in the RDU ?

I have not rode in it yet , but I was the one that noticed the noise in the rear , so will see if its gone next time I ride in it .
