I’ve been noticing an acceleration lag recently in my 2022BSBL 55,000 miles. For instance, when needing to pass on the highway, I press the accelerator, and it takes a beat or two before there’s a response. I hadn’t thought too much about it until three days ago, I had a more significant situation which caused me to think back on these acceleration lags. I do off-road in my BSBL, and while on a trail Friday, I was going over an obstacle- a steep, offcamber, rocky section. I had it floored, and I was getting no response. My husband was outside spotting, and he said he didn’t even hear the engine revving increase. I ended up backing off the obstacle and trying again with more speed, but still, the acceleration/engine lacked response. We were too far up the trail to do anything but keep going, and it was the last intense obstacle, so we decided to keep going. I did a quick search of this forum and some Facebook groups, but I’m not sure what I’ve seen posted is what I’m experiencing.
I am going to take it in, but curious if anyone has had a similar experience and what you found out it was.
I was running premium fuel.

If you have a code scanner, I would check it for any codes it may be reporting. If you don't and the vehicle is connected to the Ford app, message me the VIN and I can pull any codes it is reporting to Ford's cloud.

I’ve had occasions on my 2022 BL where it has appeared to stumble on acceleration.

I’m going to schedule an appointment with my Ford service person. We just got back from our trip and I haven’t been able to call yet.
I drove it to work today and to appointments yesterday, and it seemed fine; other than a hesitation when accelerating while merging into the freeway from the on ramp.
I want it looked at before taking it off-road again.
Typically, I’m able to inch up steep inclines while in rock crawl mode… just slow and steady. This time I had to back up a bit and get momentum going before I could scale the obstacle… just really different than the what I’m used to.
