Note the Hair!

I had one smack my driver side once too but in the Escape. Wrinkled the whole left side. Mirror was gone as well and so was he! I’m guessing he took the mirror as a gift for his doe since it was during “that” time.

No photos for me. Before smart phones!

Don't remove the hair until after the insurance adjuster has had an opportunity to inspect the damage. I don't know about other insurance companies, but GEICO doesn't raise rates due to animal collision. The hair helps to prove you collided with a critter.

Pretty sure most are the same. State Farm is for sure. I suppose some crashes are more obvious but they told me not to wash the blood or hair off before being inspected.

That is wild! Don't worry though, I'll get revenge for you this coming November.

Deer took on the Bronco in upstate NY... needless to say, the deer lost.

Front fender, both doors, and the quarter panel all need to be replaced...

EDIT: Not going to bump the thread over this, but this reflected more than $12K in damage, so I would encourage everyone to consider the benefits of gap coverage... preferably on the financing end (assuming you finance, as the overwhelming majority of people do.)

One word: OOF.

Poor dude goes skidding. Glad you're okay though.

Had it fixed then traded it for the BS. :) Was a small deer but still over $2000 worth of damage.
