I feel like I’ve seen different versions of leather wrapped roast interior. Am I crazy or are there different versions based on exterior paint, trim, package? Could’ve sworn I’ve seen one that didn’t have grey as an accent and maybe a different roast tone. Wondering if this is trim or maybe even what different plants had available?

I’m presuming these pics are the interior of your OB? Here’s a quick google grab, I’m assuming this is the interior you’ve seen that’s similar but different. This should be the interior in the Badlands. The gray is replaced by some leather & suede all in brown.

Yeah our badlands has the same brown seat top as the second post. I didn't realize they're was a difference between the OB and BL. Honestly can't decide which one I like better

I kind of like the brown and brown leather, but I dislike leather in general. Just too much upkeep for me. I love the cloth in mine, I'm a happy camper. Neither of those options is bad, Ford did a nice job with design I don't care what anyone says...it looks good.

Is that just a pic from when you picked it up, or are you dedicated to preserving the car by keeping the shipping materials applied? I know most dealers do the prep work, but man, I love getting a car or appliance so new that you have to peel it yourself!

I prefer "leather" to "cloth" in cars overall but they keep pushing the boundaries on what those materials are. The Bronco "cloth" is a really nice neoprene style fabric that seems easy to care and clean. The "leather" is dubious as always... maybe leather from some unknown animal or maybe synthetic or vinyl piece panels mixed in. Really hard to tell. The piece I am a bit sketchy about long-term is the suede patches. You can't get it wet. You can't use leather cleaner or wipes on it. All you can do is be really careful. That's the one bit that concerns me, but the seats do look super nice.

Still no idea why you’d put suede in an off-road vehicle

It’s not a off road vehicle, it’s an suv that has off road capabilities.
I'd argue from billing and advertising it is indeed a off-road vehicle with highway manners. MOST will never test those capably but I guarantee every level of bronco sport is built capable. Use is in the user...for the record I'm not pointing fingers mine is 99.9% daily driver.

I’ll be the first to admit that the BigBend 4 wheel drive system is a trooper, the wife an I went out in the middle of a blizzard 2022 to test the 4 wheel drive system and she didn’t Leave us stranded anywhere. But I just think its an suv first then a capable 4 wheeler. I guess WE purchased ours for different reasons. Sorry I can’t upload the video we took.

our big complaint on the roast interior is on the 21 and early 22's they had perforated leather in the black leather sections, now its smooth and looks cheap by comparison

anyone notice the same?

comparison can be seen in these two Carmax cars..

perforated - https://www.carmax.com/car/23064623

smooth - https://www.carmax.com/car/22850072
the smooth leather is so much nicer for keeping clean - the perforations look nice in pics, then immediately get filled with little dirt and crumbs from every day use
