Went into dealer today with a minor oil leak and decided to try and get the "No Key Detected"/won't start problem fixed while I was there -- been trying for 13 months now. On 7/24/21 Ford told dealers to not attempt repairs, that Ford would have a fix ready in 7/21.
Today's update to dealers is hilarious -- read the attached messages and think about it.
Both dealers (where purchased and local service center) both suggested only recourse would be a "lemon law" suit, and I love my baby too much to even consider it.
You'd just think Ford could figure out the problem and fix it in a year.
