Key fob with trunk button on base?

Does anyone know if I can get the key fob with the trunk button for my BS Base?

i stay in the back of my bronco a lot and getting in and out is a lot easier through the trunk.

You should be able to find a fob online somewhere. Whether it works or not is another matter. You may need to do some editing using Forscan.

I don't have that. That is kind of what I thought would be the case too.

So how do you get in it now?

lol I'm able to open it from the outside and when I can pull down on the handles. But when I get out i have to go through the back doors since I cant open the trunk from the inside.

The liftgate release is just a momentary contact switch. If you were inclined, you could wire a second switch in parallel over the existing button's contacts and locate it somewhere inside. Preferably where you can't accidentally press it but that's up to how much wire you use. If you ran wires back through the liftgate harness boot, it could even theoretically be up on the dash or headliner. But I think the backside of the wiper "bump" would be sufficient.
