Just for fun I went onto the Ford website and built and priced a Badlands and noticed that if you try to add the tow package at the end it forces you to remove the Badlands package, like you can’t order both together for some reason. I wonder if its a glitch or something that will be new for when 2022 orders open up until things get caught up? My car is currently sitting in the desert waiting on a chip. I wonder if the fact that I will have all options in this car will increase the trade in value in a year or so since many of the options are not available anymore such as the moonroof and maybe even the combo of the BL package and tow?

Im hoping the B+P opens online on 8/30 as anticipated, I’m curious to see whats ahead for 22.

Orders might be opening up on the 30th, I am going to my local dealer that morning to find out and hopefully order my sport, but the last I heard from other forum members was not to hold your breath for build and price online. The dealer should be able to do it on their systems though. Otherwise how could they order anything?

2022 allows all the options. What they did was pull the moonroof out of the package separate so you could get the package without it. The package is now called the premium package. I ordered a 2022 BL+PP with tow on 9/10. I did not want moonroof but could have gotten it. I have the VIN now with a build date of 11/22

Chip shortage aside, this is a good move on Ford's part. For MY21, ordering sans moonroof was a bit 'obscure,' so I avoided the BB package as I'd rather go without the other features than deal with a moonroof.
