the same color as all of the warning lights on the dash. I.E. Low tire pressure, check engine light etc. Everytime I scan the instrument panel my eye catches the "orange-yellow" light. Maybe I'll get used to it based on it's location. WTFK

It was the same on my old 2009 F-150. Some normal indicator (can't remember which) on the dash was orange-red and I would have the same reaction till I got used to it.

Hard to mistake when any of the P D R N L letters are highlighted in the dash display with the warning symbols/icons, never had that happen.

On the 2025+ it is in the lower left corner of the cluster under the tach...I rarely ever look at the PRNDM indicator. I look at it more to confirm I am actually in Park before shutting the car down more than anything else.

Unless they changed it, shifts into park automatically when you shut engine off and left in drive position.

I don't think I ever even look at that. If I'm not sure what gear I'm in, I glance down at the dial. I guess it's from years of driving MT and not looking at the dashboard for that information.
I hear you on that one. Here I am coming up on almost exactly 6 months of ownership. And after reading this today I had to look at my Dash to see where it even displays the gear indicator. I've never once looked for it. LOL

Nope definitely haven't changed anything. That's typically how electronic shifters work. If you accidentally shut it off, a lot of likely go to park. My Jeep Renegade did that, my Ram did, and the bronco sport does too.

I normally just put it in R when I'm leaving so just one click over. After that, I just spin it all the way to the right to D and pretty much just leave it there.

Yep I'm literally just the opposite. I always back into my parking spot at my place so I can come home from work drive in the driveway click it in reverse right into my spot and then when I'm going to work jump in just turn it to drive and go LOL just like second nature now
