There are some subtle differences between the ‘21 and ‘22 that aren’t advertise.
- they fixed the bump in the back of the drivers seat!
- the shifter is the same as the Maverick, no positive stop at park
- the dual zone temperatures are displayed on the screen, not the dials
- the 1.5l seams zippier, possibly retuned throttle

…first notices, if sure I’ll find more.

Next difference, the ambient lighting is no longer in the cup holder area. Which I’m not totally sad about, it was very bright in the ‘21 and would shine in your eyes when the space wasn’t occupied.

I kind of liked the temps in the dials.. That's lame.

So is there no display in the dials any longer? Here I was picturing it’d put the display in the dials and on the screen.

When I turn my dials the temp shows up on infotainment display then disappears when I stop turning. But shows in center of dials all the time. My '16 F150 shows up on infotainment display as you turn dials then disappears. Does not show up in center of dials on "16 F150. So wonder if '22 sports are like my '16 F150?

What is the bump in the back of the driver's seat, and how is the shifter different? I'm not familiar with the differences in the Maverick's shifter.

Is anyone willing to post a photo of the climate dials? I'd love to see how they've changed... The more I think about it the more I'm disappointed. It was a nice way to fill in the space of such a large dial.

Sounds like from what Max confirmed as well, that’s the case. Kinda disappointed actually as I like it showing in the controls. Ha perhaps I should’ve jumped on a 21 then to get that plus an engine cover! ?

I'm really not sure what the engine cover craze is. I'll gladly ship mine to someone if mine happens to have one.

As for the temps... So now the only way to know what temp you're set on is to turn the dial so it pops up? Then it goes away? LAME.

Here’s what I got off ford.com. Odd change to make. But then these controls would be shared across multiple vehicles too, maybe it saves a couple chips?
