The camp site will open on Friday mourning and you are required to leave by sunset on Sunday. Organized trail rides on Saturday, (3) led by people with experience, including a night ride! There will be several groups, based on your experience and you vehicles capabilities.

My brother and I went to this site, Uwharrie National Forrest, in April of this year and had a blast. The more capable your BS, the more trails you can do. We will probably get there about noon, on Friday, set up camp and then do a trail or two, on our own. We may also, do a trail or two on Sunday, before packing up and leaving. If you want to join US on Friday or Sunday, we would like you to have Badlands level protection, plus an aftermarket Front skid plate and a minimum of 10" of ground clearance.

There is no requirement to camp, though the camp site is included, in the price. A T shirt and sticker is part of the deal, plus a number of giveaways, on saturday afternoon.

This event, is rain or shine and will sell out weeks ahead of time and is limited to 45 cars.

New Location this year. Still near Elderado Outpost but in a hidden private area.

I can't find any info on the location. Is it a secret?

The Camp site is new this year, not actually in Uwharrie National forest but somewhere across the street from the Eldorado Outpost, which is on NC-109. The Outpost sits in front of the Forrest with entrances, to the Forrest, just a mile or two, north and south, of there. I believe the nearest town, of any size, is Troy, N.C. about 10 miles south, of the Outpost. The Outpost is extremely well equipped for all your off-road, camping and Gold mining needs. and has a decent variety of food, both hot and cold, including but by no means limited to Pizza.

I will try to get an exact location, of the camp site and post it here or in my original post.
