Issue with Valkyrie ditch light brackets - popping sound

Installed some valkyrie off road ditch light brackets, whenever i open the hood i hear a loud pop from each side. Does anyone else have this issue/know how to fix it?

Open as in unlach, or when you lift it?

I'd have someone else slowly lift it and watch really closely for clearance issue. I assume you marked the hinge locations before unbolting to install the brackets and adjusted everything once installed?

they are properly installed. i’m wondering if anyone else had this issue.

also, i will try doing that later today, never heard of this happening with ditch lights before

No issues with my valkyrieoffroad ditch brackets or rough country ditch lights when opening or closing my hood. I've had them on for a few months now. I'll check again in the morning; move it up and down slow and fast, etc...
