I had seen some off road channel run down, of their top 10 products to take with them and for camping. This was on their list and is on sale now for 15% off and you get free shipping. Pic is partially assembled. This is not a lightweight product! It has a steel blade and everything packs down to 31 inches in the heavy duty carry bag. Fully assembled. It is 64 inches long. partially assembled as pictured, it is 38 1/2 inches long. If you can't dig out with this, you may need a backhoe

Edit, 1/27, I’ve now added another shovel, to my pile of off-road related accessories. The new shovel. Is a little shorter but all aluminum and packs down in its own carry bag that’s just 15 inches long it’s a very light four piece shovel, that adjust to four or five different lengths. The 47" retractable shovel is now at it's best price ever and just $18.99

I've found a Pulaski to be a better tool for digging out a high centered vehicle. You can't move much dirt with a shovel when the floorboard is 3" above the ground. It is also much better for digging in hard soil. I carry one in both my rigs at all times. When I was young, my dad slid off the road into a small tree. We had to cut the tree down to get out without damaging the vehicle. A Pulaski will do that too. That said, I do also carry an Army shovel.
