I recently got a new iPhone 16 Pro and it seems to be at odds with my stereo (‘23 OBX). If I don’t hook up the CarPlay in just the right order it won’t work, and today the whole system froze, even after I shut the car off and opened the door to completely shut everything down. I did a factory reset when I got to work but haven’t had time to do anything else. I’ll have to re-program all of my Sirius stations and settings, which makes me really cranky.
Is it possible that the current ios for my phone has anything to do with it (I’m running 18.4.1)? I don’t remember where I read/heard it, but somewhere I remember something being said about iPhones not playing nice with the Bronco Sports‘ stereo systems. I looked through various posts but couldn’t find anything.
