Introducing Ratsquatch - 2025 Bronco Sport Badlands with Sasquatch package

I thought I had an introduction post here, but I cannot find one. Just odd posts in other threads. So I wanted to have a post that I can make updates to.

Prior to the Bronco, I had different year models of the Xterra for 19 years. The 2013 Pro-4x Xterra is the one I had for 13 years. So when my son needed reliable transportation, I bought the Bronco and gave him the Xterra. We both won.

So as i mention in the title, I have a 25 BSBL Sas. I ordered it last January (almost a year now) and took ownership of it at the end of last March.

Below are the pictures from Ratsquatch. Will be doing some changes on the inside next weekend. Can't wait.

What’s the story behind “Rat” in Ratsquatch and in your username ? Military right ?

So my nickname from younger until now has been Rat. In the 90s, I wanted to come up with a name that was more unique - every game had people calling themselves rat. So I took rat and combined it with a Russian sounding 'myr' and made ratmyr. Been with me since. Then I found out there are actually people with that as their last name. I said - oh well, it's my name too. Haha.

So when I got the Bronco, I was going to go with a scorpion theme, hence the Brotherhood of Nod logo on the rear panel. That is from a game called Command and Conquer. But I ended up seeing a lot of sasquatch stuff and decided to use the sasquatch theme instead of the Bronco horses all over. So I took 'rat' and combined it with 'squatch' and named him Ratsquatch.

I had a custom emblem that I shared up above and had someone make it into a velcro patch to add to my Bronco Nation back pack and a Yeti bottle to seal my theme.

And yeah, former military. Actually just three years. But 30 years as an Army civilian.

It is Montezuma's Pass in Southeastern Arizona. About 15 miles from the US/Mexican border.

Just a quick question. Did anyone notice an update done in the last day or so? When I was in my car yesterday, it told me there was an update performed. Not sure if it was the infotainment system or Android Auto. But now, when Android Auto is connected, the media player (whether car SiriusXM or over Bluetooth) is showing a different screen. Most importantly, prior to the update, I could pause, go back or go forward (up to the LIVE program) for SiriusXM. Now, the back/forward buttons are changing the stations.

Maybe it was SiriusXM doing an app update as well and it was just a coincidence. This sucked.

Has anyone else noticed this?
